Welcome to Air Force Security Police.com, the absolute #1 unofficial Air Force Security Forces web site on the internet...PERIOD! Our mission is to bring together all those currently serving in the US Air Force as Security Forces members, past Air Police and Security Police members, as well as future Security forces members. My name is Nate, and I'm the founder of Air Force Security Police.com. Let me personally welcome you to our community, and I'm glad you found us!

Our Start: Air Force Security Police.com was born in November 2001 as a direct result of the tragedies of September 11th. The site founder is a veteran of the USAF Security Police and served on Active Duty from 1989 - 1994 during the Desert Storm period. A Rhode Island native, after the events of September 11, 2001, he decided to go back in via the Massachusetts Air National Guard. While attempting to seek out information on the internet on what seven years of being out of the military had brought in order to prepare, he found that there was a lack of resources regarding our field. Self-taught in web design, he decided to register the domain name airforcesecuritypolice.com and build a community to bring together those who were currently serving, had served in the past, and wanted to serve in the future USAF Security Forces field.

Unanticipated Growth: What started out as a small group of people finding our site has turned into a very large community of over 3100 members from all over the globe. While the site is free to join as a member (members can search and read the postings on our lively community message board), Premium Membership (which pays for the site's continued operation) is just $29.95 for a lifetime membership and allows for our site to grow. Premium Members may post to the message board, utilize the Private Message features, access Video clips, access our Site Library (opening in the April-May 2004 timeframe), and email other members.

In 2004, the domain name AFSP.net was also purchased so that members could easily get to the site without mis-typing the long name we have.

The Future: Air Force Security Police.com receives between 300 - 450 visits per day and approximately 150-180 new members join per month. Many of our Premium members have been regular contributors to the message board since we opened and many more visit repeatedly. Our site fills a void and many of our members have emailed me to say that it's the only site they absolutely log onto daily...even when they're on vacation or leave! Comments like that make me very proud to have built the site! Speaking of which, although I built the site, I firmly believe that this site wholeheartedly belongs to its members, and I listen to feedback from our members to continuously improve the site. When you send an email to contact@airforcesecuritypolice.com, I receive it personally and respond as appropriate to each message.

I invite you to join our community! If you find that you like the site, please consider supporting the site and its continued growth by joining as a Premium Member. Thanks again for stopping by, and I look forward to seeing you on the list of members!

Best Regards...Nate / Administrator

ps...I did not go back into the military. As it turns out, my blood pressure was slightly elevated and since my doctor proscribed medication it made me ineligible to join (even though had I been prescribed the same medication after I had joined, there would be no problem with my continuing to serve). The BP is back to normal now. No matter. My contribution now is hosting/managing this web site, which actually probably lets me do more for my country than I could have done as a member of the ANG.
